I've changed the colors of the text, links, and such so that they are now readable on each mix. After slamming my head into the wall for about two hours last night on the cookie issue, I looked at some already working code and had the problem fixed, better than ever, in less than two minutes. Moral of the story: go with what works. I'll also be working on a nice looking entry page graphic at some point, look for that soon.

Well, I've got a new design up, as you've probably noticed. If you're still running at 800x600... well, too bad. You need to turn up your resolution. For those of you not stuck in the stone age, there are actually five different designs. Well, it's the same design, but it's a different color. One of these designs is chosen randomly when you visit and stays that way till you quit your browser. And let me tell you: I had a devil of a time getting the cookies to work right. Apparently IE and Safari are so anal about how they handle cookies that I can't even browse my website over my network with them any more. Well, good riddance, I say. At least I've still got OmniWeb.
Anyway, as always, contact me or post something on the board. And, as always, no one will. *sighs*

I took the AP Calculus today. That's over three hours of very intensive testing. I'm pretty sure I smoked it, though. 4 definitely, 5 hopefully. But I'll know in mid-July. *sigh*

I went to Nebraska this weekend for some testing, registration, and orientation stuff. It's about 600 miles from here to there, which translates into a 10 hour drive. If you've never driven for ten hours, let me tell you: it's a long stinkin' time to sit in a car.
So, what do you people think of that iTunes Music Store? It's pretty rad, IMO. I've bought a few songs off of it. It's so easy, and fast, and convenient...

Have any of you ever seen the movie SLC Punk? I just watched it. It's a really good movie, but I don't think I'd watch it again. It's got me... depressed isn't really the right word. I don't know. It just got me feeling all strange.

Another Way. Title of a Paul Van Dyk song. I actually made this picture a long time ago, but didn't post it at first because it didn't feel complete, and didn't post it later because I thought it was lower resolution than it was. I sat down to remake it at a higher resolution today and found out that it was already there, so I posted it. It's not that complex of a picture, nor is it that stunningly well crafted, but for some reason I really, really like it.
Also, I made some changes, and now anyone can post comments on my desktop pictures in the forums.

Yeah, so. Prom was last night. The dance itself was gay, all they played was hip-hop. At prom? Hrm. Anyway, the rest of the night was fun, since it was at the The Broadmoor. Yeah. We came back to my house and watched the stupidest movie ever. It's called Bed of Roses. I can't believe I sat through it. It was awful.
So, I'm still pretty tired. But I think I'm going to be okay.

If you'll kindly look up a few lines, you'll notice a link to my new bulletin board. Now, you might be thinking that I've gotten a little big for my britches (that is a really strange saying), but the software was there, it was free, and it was cool. So I installed it. I don't know if anyone is actually going to use it; if not, I'll just remove it in a few weeks so it's not all lame.

I'm redoing the website for my company, Voelker Research. And folks, let me tell you about it. It's something that wasn't created so much as evolved. It is a hodge-podge of disgustingly bad organization, terrible code (combinations of Claris HomePage, Adobe PageMill, Adobe GoLive, and Macromedia Dreamweaver), and bad English. It is my job to convert the thing into something useful and useable. I've worked on it for about four hours so far and gotten about halfway done with it. Ugh.
In other news, about two months ago I received word that I got a full ride scholarship to the Peter Kiewit Institute at the University of Nebraska. Now, you may be thinking, "But, Stormy, Nebraska SUCKS!". And most likely, you would be right. But, PKI rocks. I visited the place this fall and it is bad (bad to the bone). So hooray for me, no worries about paying for college.
